Questions

Insurance & Payment FAQ

Do you accept my insurance right now?

Serenity is actively pursuing credentialing and contracting with the plans listed on this page. Some processes are further along than others, and none should be assumed to be active until confirmed. Please contact our office to verify current participation and your individual benefits before scheduling.

I live in a state that is not on the insurance list. Can I still be seen?

Yes, if a Serenity provider is licensed in your jurisdiction. Patients in Alabama, Florida, Michigan, and Washington, D.C. can access our services on a self-pay basis, subject to applicable clinical and regulatory requirements.

What does self-pay cost?

All self-pay fees are published openly on our psychiatric services page — from $175 for a medication management follow-up to $500 for a comprehensive evaluation. There are no hidden charges.

Can I get a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement?

Yes. Where we are not in-network with your plan, we can provide a superbill you may submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your carrier, not by Serenity.

How do I pay?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
