Anxiety and Depression Treatment
Diagnostic clarity and evidence-based treatment for adults — including medication management when it is the right fit.
Naming it accurately is the first treatment step
Anxiety and depression are among the most common — and most frequently under-treated — conditions we see. They also overlap heavily with sleep problems, thyroid and hormonal issues, chronic stress, grief, trauma, and medication side effects.
A Serenity evaluation is built to tell those apart, so that treatment targets what is actually driving your symptoms.
Symptoms we commonly treat
- Persistent worry, dread, or restlessness
- Low mood, hopelessness, or loss of interest
- Sleep that is broken, excessive, or unrefreshing
- Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
- Appetite or weight changes
- Physical tension, fatigue, or unexplained aches
- Irritability or emotional flooding
- Withdrawing from people you normally lean on
What treatment looks like
Comprehensive evaluation
A full diagnostic assessment of mood, anxiety, history, medical factors, and current medications.
A plan built with you
Treatment options are explained in plain language — including what we would expect, how quickly, and what side effects to watch for.
Regular follow-up
Medication management visits every 30 days to review response, adjust dosage, and monitor side effects.
Whole-person adjustments
Sleep, nutrition, stress, and lifestyle contributors are addressed alongside medication rather than after it.
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I be seen?
Appointments are booked directly through our online scheduler, and current availability is always visible there. Because we are fully virtual, we can often see patients sooner than a traditional in-person practice.
Will I have to take medication?
No. Medication is one option among several, and it is discussed — never assumed. Your evaluation looks at sleep, stress, medical contributors, lifestyle, and history before any recommendation is made.
Do you provide therapy as well?
We provide supportive clinical guidance during visits, and we refer to therapy when that is the right addition to your care.
