Why This Exists

Care does not stop at the appointment

Most of what determines how someone recovers happens between visits — in what they understand, what their family notices, and what they know to do when things start to shift.

The books, courses, and Academy exist to put that understanding into people’s hands, whether or not they are ever a Serenity patient.

From Trauma to Triumph

A Memoir of Faith, Survival, Resilience, and Redemption

A powerful exploration of healing, resilience, and personal transformation. Drawing from both clinical expertise and lived experience, Sidy Justynski examines how trauma shapes identity, relationships, and self-worth — and how it can be transcended.

Blending trauma-informed insight with reflection and empowerment, this book guides readers through reclaiming their voice, establishing healthy boundaries, and choosing growth after adversity. From Trauma to Triumph is not about bypassing pain, but about understanding it, integrating it, and rising stronger because of it.

This work speaks to survivors, seekers, and anyone ready to move beyond survival into wholeness — offering clarity, courage, and the reminder that healing is possible, purposeful, and deeply personal.

Where to Buy

“From Trauma to Triumph: A Memoir of Faith, Survival, Resilience, and Redemption is a deeply moving and courageous account of what it means to survive life’s most painful seasons without allowing them to have the final word. Sidy Justynski writes with honesty, vulnerability, and remarkable strength. Her story does not minimize trauma or rush the healing process. Instead, it shows how faith, perseverance, self-reflection, and resilience can help a person rebuild after devastating experiences. Readers are reminded that trauma may shape part of their story, but it does not have to become their permanent identity. A powerful testimony of faith, courage, healing, and redemption. Highly recommended.”

Dating with Discernment

A Single Mom’s Guide

To every woman who rebuilt herself in silence, holding her heart while presenting a strong face, this book is for you. To single mothers who carried worlds while healing, may these pages honor your strength and remind you of your worth.

Together, we explore trauma-informed mental health and faith-aware healing. You will learn to choose partners who share your values and support your parenting; stop confusing attention with devotion; and date with clarity, not just chemistry.

  • Recognize emotional patterns and red flags early.
  • Break cycles of misaligned relationships.
  • Establish and maintain non-negotiable standards.
  • Protect your peace — and your child’s stability.
  • Date from a place of wholeness, not loneliness.

Discernment is not optional. It is necessary.

“Dating with Discernment is a well-written must read. It is less about ‘how to find a partner’ and more about becoming fully self-aware, whole, and healed before choosing a partner, which fosters fulfilling relationships. It’s growth-focused, introspective, and guides women, especially single moms, to focus on standard-driven relationships.”

BEFORE THE CRISIS™

A Family Mental Health Preparedness Course

Created and presented by Dr. Alex Cojanu, Psychiatrist, and Sidonie Justynski, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

BEFORE THE CRISIS™ is a practical, family-focused mental health education program designed to help individuals and families recognize early warning signs of mental health concerns, understand when a situation may be escalating, respond more effectively, and know when and how to seek appropriate professional help.

Rather than waiting until a mental health concern becomes an emergency, the course equips families with knowledge, practical tools, and greater confidence to recognize concerns earlier and respond with compassion, preparation, and informed action.

Recognize earlier. Respond effectively. Prepare before the crisis.
